Crypto custody and compliance cheat sheets

These pages are for the engineer or architect who has to build or audit digital-asset custody, not for the retail holder (that is the Bitcoin section). They cover the decisions in the order you meet them: which custody model, how threshold signing actually works in production, where the wallet boundary sits in an exchange, and how deposits and withdrawals reach finality on each chain.

The compliance pages place KYT, sanctions screening and the Travel Rule at the correct points in the transaction flow, with an IVMS101 field map. The stablecoin page covers issuer risk, native versus bridged assets and treasury operations. Post-quantum migration and wallet recovery forensics are the two pages nobody wants to need. Start with the custody index; it maps 34 operating decisions against five custody models and says who owns each one.

Every sheet here is produced by a governed Claude Code pipeline: a version-controlled spec as acceptance criteria, primary-source research, a self-verification gate, and a public git audit trail. Read how it is built or browse the source on GitHub.

The map draws itself with JavaScript, which is off. The grid below lists every sheet, and each sheet's detail view names its neighbours.

Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, double-click to reset. Click a node to open its detail. Colour is category; size is how much it is read this month.
